I had to pinch myself to make sure I was not dreaming when Carol and Truman asked if I could be their Toronto Destination Wedding Photographer. I have seen Conrad Bali Wedding in magazines and online many times, but never have I thought that I would be there one day.
On the first day we arrived, we shot their pre-wedding photos at Blue Point Beach.
During the actual wedding day, Carol and Truman had a traditional Chinese wedding with door games. Sexy sailor moon costumes were the highlight of the games! The ceremony took place in the most beautiful chapel on earth, the Infinity Chapel. The Infinity Chapel overlooked the beautiful Indian Ocean. It gives the illusion of as if you are standing in the middle the ocean, getting married. The beautiful white minimalistic lines are gorgeous and totally my style!
Our day started with a light drizzle and ended in heat. I was told that this was typical Bali weather. They had a small break in the middle of the day, thank goodness, because I had to go for a quick dip in the pool to cool down and shower before the reception!
The folks at The Aisle Project did an amazing job at transforming the indoor space into a lush garden. It was like they brought outdoor Bali indoors! There were flowers on the walls, the tables, and on the ceiling! The scent was heavenly. I could not believe my eyes… or my nose! The space was absolutely enchanting, like we stepped into a fairy forest.
Carol and Truman were also quite the entertainers. They are so talented – they danced, they sang, and played the piano for their guests.
