Wouldn’t it be so amazing if we could include a seat for our pup at our head table for our Toronto wedding? Too bad we can’t do that (hopefully the laws will change one day) and for now since not all wedding venues allow us to bring our dogs, why not include them as part of your engagement photoshoot?
When bringing your dog to your engagement photoshoot, make sure you pack your pup some water, their favourite toy, poo bags, a cute outfit, LOTS of treats and a fancy leash. The toy and treats will help get their attention during the shoot. Ask a family member or friend to come along the photo shoot to help take care of your pup when he/she’s not in the photo. Your pup is very excited to be a part of that shoot so make sure he/she had a lot of exercise before the shoot otherwise he/she will want to run all over the place.
Below are some of the magic that happens when you bring your dog to your engagement photoshoot:
Natalie and Jason’s adorable Luna the Husky at Trillium Park:
Becky and Ron’s oh so fluffy Samoyed puppy at Aga Khan Museum:
Christina and Tao’s photogenic Samoyed at the Bluffs:
Jenn and Kevin’s home photoshoot with famous Croquette the Corgi:
Bella’s cozy home photoshoot with her pawrents:
Cutie pie Kong Kong the bichon at Gairloch Garden:
When Hugo took up ice fishing:
Chase the Frenchie chasing sunsets in Hong Kong:
This puppy is stealing the show at just 8 weeks old at Kortright:
Your pup is a big part of your life, and you are the MOST IMPORTANT part of their life. Dogs are the best!
As a Toronto wedding photographer, I do hope one day we can have our dogs with us at Toronto wedding venues. Fingers crossed!
