Olive and Simon | Hart House Engagement Pre-Wedding

These two cuties flew all the way from Hong Kong to get their engagement/pre-wedding photos done at the University of Toronto, a place where they both went to school at. There are so many spots to photograph at UofT and Hart House is definitely one of my fave locations. This Hart House engagement photo session took place back in early October and these two couldn’t have picked a better day. The sun was out and it was still warm in early October! As a Toronto Wedding Photographer, I’ve shot at Hart House many times and that tall window you see in the first image is the most stunning spot at Hart House. The soaring windows lets in so much natural light and the doors lead straight into the court yard. You need to time the shoot really well because the court yard is hidden between the buildings so if you head out too late, you’ll miss the sunset glow. I asked these two to lie down on the floor by the windows and I’m so glad they didn’t object and the image turned out just as I had imagined! Olive had a beautiful yellow evening gown that she wore while we walked around UofT for some final images. I almost forgot what it was like to be a student, definitely felt old when I walked on the campus!

Congrats to these two gorgeous people and have a fantastic wedding in Hong Kong!
