Aga Khan Museum is like my top three photoshoot locations in Toronto! I was ecstatic when Terence told me about his plans to propose to Tina while they are back in Toronto for a bit (they are both from Hong Kong). Terence and I devised a plan for their proposal at Aga Khan but it really all hinges on the foot traffic that day. A perfect, quiet spot on a Wednesday at the Aga Khan Museum was a little harder to find that expected. Aga Khan is closed on Monday evenings but unfortunately we couldn’t make Mondays work for the proposal. Tina didn’t know about the proposal (she suspected it though) and this was supposed to be a fun photoshoot for them while they are in Toronto. Once we walked to a quiet spot, I signalled Terence and BOOM it happened! He got down on one knee and popped the question! Oh so ultra sweet! She said yes and we continued our photoshoot now with a sparkly new ring on her finger! YAY!
I’m a huge fan of reflection shots so I’m all about running up and down the fountains, walking and walking until the air is perfectly still to get the shot. From a third party’s perspective I probably looked like a crazy lady running all over the place looking for different angles haha. But I don’t care because it worked out quite well! Take a peek below at the fun angles you can get just by playing with reflections.
Congrats Tina and Terence!
