Jinglin & Adian | Ubud Kupu Kupu Barong Bali Wedding

Bali has always been the destination on my bucket list and I’m so excited that I get to go explore this beautiful place and also photograph Jinglin and Adian’s Ubud Kupu Kupu Barong Bali Wedding. Jinglin had the sweetest gift for Adian! It was a hand drawn artwork of the two of them plus their little pup! Now I want something like that too for me, Sam and Mojo! Their elopement took place on a platform above the water and witnessed by their closest friends. After their ceremony, they had a private lunch above the waters. It was ridiculously humid and hot but so so so beautiful. Kupu Kupu Barong resort really brings the Bali outdoor elements indoors! It’s kind of up on the hills so the views are just spectacular. After their wedding, we headed off to the Pura Taman Saraswati Temple for a short photoshoot (before we got kicked out which was literally 10 mins after we set foot in there…ooppss) and then we were on our way to Tegalalang Rice Terrace in Ubud for more photos. Unfortunately, there was some kind of protest which blocked off the only accessible roads so we were not able to make it to the rice fields. But honestly though, Ubud is filled with Kodak Moments so we just hopped off the car at a random spot and round a rice field and just shot there! The most stunning part of it was the volcano was actually in the background! How epic is that?! This was truly quite the adventure photography trip, oh how I love being an International Wedding Photographer. I can’t wait to do something like this again!
